The West Beach Club of Hyannis Port, MA is a private beach club. The West Beach Bathing Company, as it was originally named, was incorporated in 1916 when the land was donated by Carlton Ellis to create a Children’s Bathing Beach for the village of Hyannis Port.
“In 1930 the Association of summer residents and property owners of Hyannis Port built a modern Bath House at the West Beach with an attendant in charge of the house, a lifeguard and a swimming instructor on duty at all times during the hours for bathing.”
